Annamae Theis Novak, age 91 of Canton, passed away Wednesday night, March 31, 2021, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 26, 1929 in Warren to Peter and Mary (Kadlic) Theis.
Annamae was a loving, compassionate woman with a plethora of wonderful traits. Working as a seamstress for many years, and, being a committed member of Christ the Servant Parish, Annamae raised a beautiful family and led by a true example of kindness and gratitude. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and to all she was known as “Gaga”.
She is survived by her children, Renee (Scott) Dickes of Canton, Rochelle Milnac of Canton, Rhonda White of Bolivar, Charles Lemasters of Canton; grandchildren, Zhen Wells, Jamie Wells, Lindsay Wells, Taylor Dickes, Kara Milnac, Marcus Elewski, Dierdre Deubner, Hannah White; great grandchildren, Jenna Palmer, Izabella Lambes, Jason Schoeoppner Jr., Alana Deubner. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Richard, and Raymond Theis.
A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 6th at 10 am, at Christ the Servant Parish with Msgr. Lewis Gaetano as celebrant. Due to Covid, the service will be held for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sancta Clara Monastery.
