Ruth A. Lippert, went home to be with the Lord on April 1st. She was born on May 12, 1923 in Canton, Ohio. Ruth lived a fulfilling life as daughter, wife, mother, grandmother. Ruth graduated from Canton South High School in 1943 and was a member with Grace Brethren Church in North Canton. She retired in 1988 from the Stark County Health Department.
Her source of enjoyment came from completing word puzzles from the newspaper with her magnifying glass as she was too stubborn to wear eyeglasses, hosting fantastic family gatherings, and keeping the lawn and flower beds around the home she and her husband Ray built together in pristine condition. Ruth and her signature cup of Coca-Cola will be sorely missed.
Ruth was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Ray A Lippert in 1972, her parents, William and Bertha (Kipfer) May; three sisters, Hazel Himes, Florence Hopkins, Mary Smith, and six brothers, Roy May, Glenn May, Ralph May, Harold May, Herman May, Raymond May. Her survivors include two Daughters, Sharon Lippert, Susan (Ron) Graham, and one Son, Steven (Belinda) Lippert. Grandchildren that will miss Grandma Lippert’s Christmas Cookies and other delicious recipes include, Lisa Lippert, Matthew (Charlene) Lippert, Jennifer (Andrew) Dalrymple, Adam Lippert, and Shane Graham and one Brother, Earl (Louise) May and several nieces and nephews.
